Bring Back the "Fairness Doctrine" !!!

Actually Sen Harkin (D-IA) we should bring back the fairness doctrine, only it should apply to congress! With Democrat control running a triple threat, there is NO fairness to the People of America! This latest crap sandwich of a "stimulus" package foisted upon us by the shpincters of America- our Democratic congress-will prove to be anything BUT fair to the majority of American taxpayers who will be stuck with the grossest turkey of a financial aid policy since Jimmy Carter.

Seems our country's most recently elected and media appointed saviour is having difficulty pushing ahead his Socilaist agenda of nationalising everything. He seems to be resorting to biting his nails in frustration over the sudden backbone the Republlican party has collectively grown in the last 3 weeks.

that somehow the Democrats wont come out of this pork barrel "stimulus" bill smelling like raw fish.





But in the end the madness of king Obama will drive him isane after he realises he in waaayyy over his head...

The post eBay era has begun

So, those Q4 reports finally came out from eBay and their stock promptly went down as expected. What they at eBay don't seem to expect is any corelation with their change of basic business plan with the precipitous drop in revenues. As usual the business degreed management types, including the less than one year tenured CEO John Donahoe, blames the problems on the market, the economy etc. Never mind that his "disruptive innovation" was poorly planned and much worse, poorly timed. Never mind that eBay is one of the Nasdaq 100 so if they go down, the Nasdaq index will likely also go down with them (not after them).

Ebay.com is yesterday's news. In years past they were the place to sell or buy. Amazon.com will bump them off the top of the hill in this latest round of online battles.

It's too bad for those shareholders that bought eBay stock in hopes of being a part of something truly American and unique as eBay was. Their stock is languishing and their image is tarnished more than the antique and collectible bargains one used to be avle to find there.

The once proud eBay will be but a memory by 2010

As seen by the Google stock discussions, eBay is headed down a seeming irreversible path to zero. Since John Donahoe came on board as CEO, with the apparent blessings of founder Pierre Omidyar, the company's stock has been plummetting faster than the market is dropping.

A catch-22 the stock market is, since eBay is one of the 100 stocks that make up the Nasdaq index. Suffice it to say, as eBay goes, so goes the index. While cheerleaders are busy blaming the economy for eBay's slipping stock price, they fail to notice the correlating relationship of eBay and the Nasdaq index.

In a more direct way of putting it: It is eBays failing policies that are dropping the market rather than the market dropping eBays share price. Simple as that folks!

Amazon, which is also on the Nasdaq 100, reported its best Christmas sales season ever for 2008. We have yet to hear of such news from eBay, and likely will not anyway.

eBay eliminates "live" help...

....and interestingly, the same day they eliminate "live" help their stock rises by 8+ %!!!!

For the typical shareholder who doesn't seem to care about the company's policies, that is wonderful news. To them the slump is over, happy days are here again. However, this may just be the peak of the dead cat bounce which will happen in January after the quarter ends.

Donahoe is just the lightining rod for the whole executive board's actions. Even Pierre Omidyar seems all too happy with Donahoe's leadership.

The 'best match' for us to get the message across is to simply stop selling via eBay, don't buy anything via eBay. It doesn't require anyone to suspend accounts or anything drastic.

Just say "NO" to eBay this Christmas!
